Portrait I painted of Jennifer Lawrence as she appeared playing Katniss Everdeen from District 12 of the post-apocalyptic world at the Hunger Games movie. I didn't read the book, but got caught by the story when I went to see the film. It is more deep and basic at the same time than other recent books turned into movies.

This was my first painting made on wood (I've made burning carving though) and my kids love her so I have her hanging here in my studio.

Retrato que pinté de Jennifer Lawrence como ella aparecio interpretando a Katniss Everdeen del Distrito 12 del mundo post-apocaliptico de la pelicula de Los Juegos del Hambre. No leí el libro, pero me capturó la historia cuando fuí a verla al cine. Es mucho mas profunda y basica al mismo tiempo que otros libros recientes convertidos en peliculas.

Este fue mi primera pintura hecha en madera y a mis niñas les encanta asi que la tengo colgada en mi estudio.
